Conclusion of Parivaar Winter Relief for Vulnerable Elderly (13 thousand blankets distributed) We finished our Relief Efforts with a 4 day camp covering more than 40 adivasi villages of Jhargram district in West Bengal where 1500 elderly were served with warm Ludhiana blankets. Our sevavratee teams covered 220 villages in 6 districts of MP distributing 9000 blankets there and more than 100 villages in 3 districts of West Bengal distributing 4000 blankets. Because of certain delays and logistical issues, we could serve field areas in Bankura and Purulia districts which were also in our planned list and mentioned by me in an earlier post. This has been a matter of regret. We resolve to undertake this in a bigger way and start early around September for the next winter and finish by October end.
