Milestone of 10 Lac (1 million) patients reached through Parivaar Mobile Medical Clinics in interior tribal areas.
Under this service, a doctor and an attendant travel acriss a predetermined circuit of villages each day (6 days a week) and cater to primary ailments, provide medication, and also help in identofying critical or chrnoic diseases which are then taken up for higher treatnent centres by our ambulance services (at present we have 97 free 24 hour*7 ambulances in 24 districts of Madhya Pradesh)
We had launched the Mobile Health Clinic Project in remote and impoverished tribal blocks in Madhya Pradesh in June 2021. We have now reached the milestone of 10 lakh patients served through these Clinics. The district-wise details are given below. At its peak there were 18 Mobile Medical m Clinics (MMCs), though as on date there is an active fleet of 13 MMCs.
Very soon we are embarking upon setting up 4 more Clinics in 2 districts of Chhattisgarh (Gaurella-Pendra-Marwahi and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur). This will expand Parivaar’s footprint in the state of Chhattisgarh.
The Mobile Medical Clinics is an ‘At your door’ service in some of poorest areas in our country and the costs per patient come out to be Rs 58. Thus, we have spent around Rs 5.8 Cr for serving one million patients in last 30 months which included our fuel costs, doctor charges, and medicine costs.
