Parivaar Bengal Regular Sunday Training Program for armed forces, Police and other paramilitary forces.

We have 85 resident girls and 165 resident boys who are going through the training process.

The training is held every Sunday and the timings are 5.30 am to 6.45 am for physical training for the boys and 5 pm to 6 pm for the Girls. The theory classes are conducted from 10 am to 3.45 pm with a break of 45 mins for Lunch.

Training personnel : Former Army personnel Shri Bipul Mallick is looking after the field side. The theory / academic side involves a number of other instructors in Mathematical Aptitude, General Studies,, English and Reasoning.

There are certain criteria which have to be fulfilled for various jobs. For Police or Army examinations a girl has to have a minimum height of 5ft 2inches and a boy has to have 5ft 6inches..

But even others can compete for several other government recruitment examination as the theoretical training is quite useful for almost all Government Sector job recruitment examinations. Thus, the academic training will enable them to sit for many such recruitment examinations.

After almost a year’s training these children will be appearing for examinations of various sectors. They might not clear at their first chance but they shall get multiple opportunities in future.

PS: The above note prepared by Pratik Dutta and the training sessions facilitated and coordinated by Raju Ram and Subir Ghosh and under the overall guidance of Chandan Paul.
