Two new Mobile Medical Clinics started
We have launched 2 new mobile medical clinics last week in some of the most impoverished tribal villages in districts of Barwani and Anuppur (both in MP but separated by a distance of 1000 km). Both these clinics cover 50 villages each over a fortnightly period. A doctor, an assistant, visit the villages in a vehicle as per a pre-fixed schedule. The service is free and medication is also given free. Entire cost, including doctor charges, vehicle fuel, medicine amount to Rs 54 per patient. We have spent around Rs 6 Cr on this project since its inception in mid-June 2021.
It is doctor at your doorstep service for people far removed from any hospital and living in remote and often inaccessible areas.
We have now 15 such mobile clinics in 8 different districts, in all covering 702 tribal villages.
More than 11 Lac patients have been served through this service since the first clinic was launched in mid-June 2021. A significant number of cases were also taken for advance treatment to centres like Delhi, Bhopal, Indore, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Jaipur etc.
This is in addition to the free 94 ambulances (24 hour*7) that Parivaar operates.
